Pediatric UNIVENT Inoue Tube Pediatric
UNIVENT tube is an ideal endotracheal tube with a movable blocker for one lung
anesthesia for pediatric patient. Features: The
main tube is manufactured from silicone rubber. The blocker tube is manufactured
from polyurethane contained nylon incorporates braided wire in the wall for
excellent torque control. The tube design features Silicone main tube cuff (for
with cuff type only) and silicone blocker cuff, selt-sealing one way valve with
attached pilot balloon for both main cuff and blocker cuff. In addition to the
standard depth markings at main tube, the main tube also features marks 1-5cm
from main cuff. X-ray marker is at the tip of main tube. 15mm connector is
attached on the tube. Indication: Pediatric
UNIVENT tube is intended not only for all areas of thoracic or pulmonary
surgery, but also in procedures which require better exposure of the esophagus,
mediastinum and thoracic aorta. The tube allows isolation and selective
inflation or deflation of either right or left lung. Order Information:
The UNIVENT INOUE TUBE allows the anesthesiologist to easily collapse one lung for thoracopscopic procedures. The blocker lumen functions to provide CPAP, insufflation or to exhaust air from the lung.
